Randy Rhoads Polka Dot V Guitar with Floyd Rose

Randy Rhoads Polka Dot V Guitar with Floyd Rose

Inspired by one of the most recognisable guitars associated with Randy Rhoads, this Polka Dot V guitar combines the distinctive black-and-white finish with the sharp V-shaped body that became such an iconic part of his stage look.

The contrasting black polka dots on a white body, matching V-shaped headstock and black hardware give this guitar an unmistakable appearance. For players looking for something more distinctive than a conventional V guitar, this is a design that immediately stands out.

Iconic Randy Rhoads Polka Dot Design

The defining feature is naturally the Randy Rhoads-inspired polka dot finish. The black dots continue across the white V-shaped body, recreating the instantly recognisable aesthetic associated with Rhoads' famous custom guitar.

A dark fingerboard and black hardware complement the monochrome finish, while the angular body shape gives the guitar the aggressive appearance associated with classic hard rock and heavy metal instruments.

Dual Humbucker Configuration

The guitar features two humbucking pickups, giving players access to the powerful, full-bodied sound typically favoured for distorted rhythm playing and lead guitar.

A traditional pickup selector and control layout provides more versatility than a stripped-back single-pickup V, allowing you to move between different pickup combinations for rhythm and lead tones.

Floyd Rose-Style Floating Tremolo

Unlike a fixed-bridge version of the Polka Dot V, this model features a locking floating tremolo system. This makes it particularly suitable for expressive lead playing, including wide vibrato, dive bombs and other tremolo techniques commonly associated with 1980s rock and metal guitar.

The locking system also helps maintain tuning stability during more aggressive tremolo use.

Built for Classic Rock and Metal Players

The combination of the V-shaped body, dual humbuckers and floating tremolo makes this guitar particularly well suited to hard rock, heavy metal and lead guitar playing.

More importantly, its distinctive appearance makes it an interesting option for Randy Rhoads fans and players looking for a guitar that has considerably more visual character than a conventional solid-colour V.
