Sky Blue Fender Jazz Style Bass

Sky Blue Jazz Bass Guitar – Maple Neck

The Sky Blue Jazz Bass Guitar with Maple Neck combines the familiar offset shape and versatile electronics of a classic Jazz-style bass with a bright sky-blue finish that gives the instrument a distinctive, modern appearance.

The combination of the sky-blue body, contrasting pickguard, natural maple neck and chrome hardware creates a particularly clean aesthetic. It's an excellent option for players who want the traditional layout and versatility of a Jazz Bass while choosing something more colourful than the usual black, sunburst or natural finishes.

Distinctive Sky Blue Finish

The standout feature of this model is its high-gloss sky-blue finish.

The lighter body colour works particularly well alongside the natural maple neck, while chrome hardware provides a traditional finishing touch. The contrasting pickguard breaks up the solid body colour and retains the familiar appearance of a classic Jazz-style instrument.

Its offset double-cutaway body also maintains the distinctive silhouette that has made this type of bass immediately recognisable.

Dual Single-Coil Jazz Bass Pickups

The bass features two single-coil pickups, giving players the traditional dual-pickup configuration associated with Jazz-style bass guitars.

The neck pickup provides warmer and fuller bass sounds, while the bridge pickup adds definition and attack. Blending the two allows you to explore a broad range of tones without requiring complicated electronics.

That versatility makes this bass suitable for everything from funk, jazz and soul to rock, pop, blues and indie.

Traditional Jazz Bass Controls

Independent volume controls allow you to adjust the output of each pickup, while a master tone control provides straightforward control over the overall sound.

This arrangement makes it easy to emphasise either pickup or create your own blend between the two, giving the instrument considerably more tonal flexibility than a basic single-pickup bass.

Maple Neck & Four-String Configuration

The natural maple neck provides a strong visual contrast against the sky-blue body while retaining the familiar feel and appearance associated with traditional electric bass designs.

Its conventional four-string configuration makes this an accessible instrument for newer bassists while remaining familiar to experienced players who prefer a traditional four-string setup.

A fixed four-saddle bridge provides individual adjustment for each string, while chrome tuning machines and hardware complete the classic configuration.

A Colourful Take on the Classic Jazz Bass

What separates this model from your other Jazz Bass options is primarily its appearance.

It retains the traditional offset body, four-string configuration and versatile dual single-coil electronics, but the combination of a sky-blue body and natural maple neck gives it a brighter and more distinctive identity.

Whether you're specifically looking for a sky blue Jazz Bass, a blue four-string bass guitar or simply a traditional Jazz-style bass in a less conventional colour, this model offers a versatile alternative to more familiar finishes.
